MEDIATION RATES

Mediation Services

• The mediation fee includes administrative and case-coordination services, customary pre-mediation conferences and preparation, review of submitted materials, and reasonable post-mediation follow-up to assist in documenting and finalizing a settlement reached, or substantially reached, at the mediation.

• Unusually extensive preparation or document review may be billed by prior agreement. Additional mediation sessions or substantial post-mediation work beyond customary follow-up will be billed at the hourly rate set forth above, with advance notice to the parties.

• A half-day mediation includes up to four (4) hours of session time, and a full-day mediation includes up to eight (8) hours of session time. Additional session time is billed at the hourly rate set forth above.

• Full-day mediations are generally recommended for complex or multi-party matters, or when the parties would benefit from a full day to explore resolution.

• Fees are allocated among the parties as agreed and are due as provided in the Mediation Agreement, unless otherwise agreed with Karl Molineux Professional Corporation.

Cancellation Policy

• If a mediation is cancelled fewer than seven (7) calendar days before the scheduled date, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled mediation fee may apply. In appropriate circumstances—particularly when the reserved time is rebooked—the cancellation fee may be reduced or waived.
